Unveiling the Customer Perspective on Claims Systems North American Edition
Abstract
Following up from Celent's biennial North American claims admin system review, Celent asked for customer references in order to get feedback on those vendors and systems.
More than 40 North American P&C insurers provided an evaluation of a claims system sold by one of the vendors in the reports. Client references were provided by the vendors.
This report details the survey results regarding insurers’ perspectives in terms of features/functions, ease of integration, IT vendors’ implementation capabilities and professional services, configuration capabilities based on specific scenarios, and business staff involvement in system changes. Throughout the report, Celent provides its insights about how the customer view reflects the priorities and pressures of the industry when it comes to managing claims. That informs the our recommendations for IT vendors and insurers.
