Thoughts on InsureTech Connect 2018

Like 6,000 or more of you, we’re all just back from InsureTech Connect 2018 (ITC) and are still sorting through the amazing content and connections we made there. Certainly the size and energy was impressive (we heard the words “crazy” “overwhelming” and “exciting” more than once). There almost seemed to be a roar, and it’s incredible to think of the conference’s growth. This is year three of ITC, which has become, in my opinion, the most important insurance conference in the world. The first year we went, we were pretty impressed by the fact that 1,800 people showed up. Last year the size doubled, and this year it almost doubled again. We think all insurers should be thinking about attending this conference — and sending a broad contingent. It’s impossible to see everything and make all the desired connections with only a few people attending.
