Abstract
When you are dealing with technology you are, by default, dealing with constant change. Leaders in the technology field are used to a pace of accelerated change. New technologies come into the market or evolve seemingly minutes after your last capital investment in what was the best solution at that time. The business now needs to change just as rapidly for launching the latest product, direct to consumer distribution or anything else to increase market share in an exceedingly competitive environment. Take all this and layer it with the turbulence of dealing with the instability of employee desires in an increasingly employee driven market and it has you reaching for pain relief! These dynamics have reshaped the technology leadership agenda for 2023 and beyond, forcing IT leaders to move staffing and staff retention to their list of top concerns.
