Snap Poll on Innovation Organizations at Insurers

Abstract
Snap polls reflect questions posed by members of the Celent Executive Research Panel, a group of C level executives in the insurance industry. This question came about from a member who wanted insights around how other members have designed their innovation organizations. Thirty-three insurers responded to this survey over the course of three days, June 15-18, 2021.

This insurer is looking at their innovation practices and trying to decide whether they should create a team organized to focus on innovation and design thinking. They’re interested in what others are doing, how they’re staffed and any insights (pros/cons) you’ve seen related to your approach to innovation.
