Celent Expands Insurance Group
Jamie MacGregor joins Celent as a Senior Analyst in the firm’s Insurance Group.
Celent, a Boston-based financial research and consulting firm, has hired a new Senior Analyst in the firm’s Insurance Group.
Jamie MacGregor joins as a senior analyst based in the firm’s London office. Jamie’s research will focus on IT strategy, the business value of IT, and the technology challenges facing the European life and pensions market.
Mr. MacGregor’s career spans over 16 years in both management consulting and the insurance industry. Prior to joining Celent, he was a Senior Manager with Deloitte’s management consulting practice, where he led engagements focused on helping clients develop their IT strategy in alignment with their business goals, post-M&A integration, and enterprise architecture. While at Deloitte, Mr. MacGregor also directed the learning and development programme for the Architecture & Analysis capability, and was a core team member contributing towards the development of both the Insurance Core Systems Transformation proposition and the Retail Distribution Review Readiness proposition for the UK Life and Pensions market.
Mr. MacGregor has an MBA from the University of Southampton and a first class BSc Honours degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Portsmouth. In addition, he has also attended Driving Strategic Innovation at the IMD and was also selected for Telemaque, a global leadership development programme run by AXA University in partnership with INSEAD.
