Celent has announced that nominations are now open for the Ninth Annual Model Bank Awards.

Celent will recognize the effective use of technology by financial institutions in the following seven categories:

  • Omnichannel Banking
  • Digital Banking Transformation
  • Digital Payments and Cards
  • Corporate Payments and Infrastructure Modernization
  • Cash Management and Trade Finance
  • Security, Fraud, and Risk Management
  • Legacy Transformation

“We are pleased to see Model Bank growing into a truly global program over the past nine years,” says Celent Senior Analyst Zilvinas Bareisis. “Receiving Celent Model Bank award brings many benefits to a financial institution – besides the prestige and PR opportunities, the winners are featured in detailed, published case studies and are invited to celebrate their achievements at Innovation and Insight Day, Celent’s flagship event.

In order to help increase awareness about the awards and provide a level of transparency about the process, Celent has also published a free report titled Becoming a Celent Model Bank: A Guide to Winning Celent’s Main Award for Financial Institutions.
