Celent Appoints New CEO
Celent, a division of Oliver Wyman, Inc. focused on advisory services and research for the global financial services market, today announced that Craig Weber is replacing Mike Harding as Celent’s CEO.
Harding, a senior partner at Oliver Wyman, was appointed CEO in 2009, shortly after the acquisition of Celent by Oliver Wyman. Harding will resume his Oliver Wyman responsibilities while retaining his role as Chairman at Celent.
Weber has been a senior vice president, with global responsibility for Celent’s Insurance division since 2007. In recent years, he led the team’s expansion in North America, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He joined the firm in 2002.
"Craig has been instrumental in building Celent’s market-leading insurance practice, and will bring a wealth of financial services experience to his new role,” says Harding. “I’m confident that his vision for the business and passion for delivering client value will help Celent continue to evolve and grow.”
