Celent has defined a SaaS capability framework based on eight dimensions:
How SaaSy are life policy administration systems based on Celent's SaaS capability framework? The Celent SaaS capability framework detailed in this second report provides attributes that have recently emerged for insurance vendors, who are increasingly hosting the service on a cloud provider. Life policy administration systems have different levels of maturity along our SaaS capability framework, but have similar maturity as other systems.
