WHERE ARE YOU FROM ORIGINALLY / WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
In Calcutta/Kolkata, India.
WHERE DO YOU CURRENTLY RESIDE?
In the great state of New Jersey.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CITY/PLACE YOU’VE TRAVELED?
My favorite city is Vancouver, BC; my favorite state is Alaska if the weather cooperates. Favorite country is Argentina for its stunning and diverse natural beauty. But there is so much that remains to be seen.
Favorite animal?
I would say penguins – they look silly but survive in very harsh conditions and have amazing social skills, and I recently made friends with some in Chile.
FAVORITE HOBBY?
Reading, which I do less than I should, and traveling, which I do more than my wallet would like me to.
FAVORITE FOOD DISH?
It is hard to discriminate when it comes to food. Turkish is a recent favorite, and street food and sweet dishes are all time favorites.
What Don't Your Celent Colleagues Know About You?
I can write backward (also called mirror writing) in two languages, though I am not sure my colleagues would be too pleased if I applied it at work.
What Do You Enjoy About Your Work?
A unique vantage point in the industry that gives us the opportunity to freely and critically talk to a wide range of institutions with diverse interests. Also the opportunity to meet with people from different background and cultures – within Celent and outside. There are always new things to learn and improve.
