DIY vs Managed Services Decision Framework

Abstract

The colocation market is thriving. Although highly associated with high frequency traders utilizing ultra-low latency trading strategies, exchange colocation appeals to many capital markets participants for example for firms seeking access to the most complete markets information or needing extensive connectivity across market participants. We research the trends and decision drivers when considering a DIY or managed approach to colocation across several capital markets use cases.
