Abstract
The vision of a "co-pilot" for every profession is no longer a moonshot. ChatGPT and other large language models (LLMs) represent augmented intelligence tools, which allow us to combine artificial intelligence (AI) with human intelligence to enhance and amplify human abilities. These tools have the potential to be transformational. With online/mobile banking maturing, improved chatbots will drive new, more effective customer engagement. Employees will leverage chatbots to offload repetitive tasks, expedite non-repetitive tasks. Early success could translate into more investment in data science, leading to more personalized user journeys and user interfaces (e.g., personalized digital dashboards).
