Abstract

Celent recognizes SunTrust Bank as the 2018 Model Bank: Data Infrastructure Modernisation for their initiative in Data Infrastructure Modernization.

SunTrust went through an extensive modernization effort to transform its legacy Client Information System and establish an enterprise data lake. The bank has been able to drastically reduce the effort needed to run analytics, react to regulatory audits or reporting changes, and leverage next-generation technologies like machine learning and AI.
