Winner of the Celent Wealth Management Model Award for Financial Wellness

Abstract

Celent is pleased to award Societe Generale with the Celent Model Wealth Manager 2023 Award for Financial Wellness.

Stress and anxiety regarding retirement planning is pervasive across the globe. In France, Societe Generale worked to develop an app that would help their retail clients alleviate the stress associated with both planning for retirement and navigating the complicated French pension system.

"My Retirement Companion" is a new digtial platform that provides personalized financial strategies, helpful tips and long-term forecasts to faciliate retirement planning and goal achievemet for Societe Generale's banking clients. It targets individuals in their 40s and 50s and is a free service. Societe Generale worked to automate the consolidation of information on pension funds, social security retirement savings and other types of savings vehicles, so that individuals could more easily understand potential benefits and formulate a realistic retirement plan. This process is extremely complicated and Societe Generale is one of the first banks to tackle this complex landscape.

One of Societe Generale's goals for the app is to alleviate the overwhelming stress and anxiety that haunt their clients when it comes to retirement. The app succeeds as both a financial solution and a means of providing clients with peace of mind or financial wellness.
