Abstract

Celent recognizes DenizBank as the 2018 Model Bank: Fraud Management & Cybersecurity for their initiative in AI Detection of Internal Fraud.

DenizBank moved from ineffective passive detection methods of internal fraud to the use of advanced analytic modeling for the early detection of insider threats.

The bank recognized the potential enormity of employee fraud and the inadequacy of its current fraud mitigation approach. Its deployment of advanced data analysis techniques, intelligent business rules, and a well-designed user interface has led to reduced internal fraud loss, and substantial operational alert and case investigation efficiencies.
