Abstract
Swedbank took SCA (strong customer authentication) regulation in the Euro region as an opportunity to enhance its anti-fraud posture for cards by modernizing its existing fraud platform. The enhanced fraud platform, provided by ACI Worldwide, uses insights from machine learning and shared data to exempt low-risk transactions from the SCA requirements, thereby improving the customer experience (CX) and growing the business.
