Europe is the leading global market for synthetic ETFs, with almost 90% of the issuance of synthetic ETFs in 2010 occurring in Europe. In contrast, synthetic ETFs form about 11% of the Asia-Pacific ETF market.Join Celent Senior Analyst Anshuman Jaswal as he discusses the evolution of the APAC and European ETF markets. This webinar will provide a comparison of the regulatory framework in APAC, Europe and the US market. It will also examine the development of synthetic ETFs in APAC and Europe and the change in market volumes in 2010–2011, which occurred in response to volatility in the global markets, counterparty risk issues, and regulatory pressures.
