Celent Roundtable | Digital Journeys and Emerging Technologies: Why Digital Engagement Will No Longer Be Optional (Invitation-only)
Overview
Celent is pleased to hold our next installment of the Celent’s Roundtable Series in Tokyo on November 2, 2018. This exclusive, invitation-only event will allow senior leaders of leading financial firms to discuss the latest trends, developments, and innovations related to financial services and technology. Daniel Latimore, Celent’s Boston-based Senior Vice President of Banking, will be returning to Tokyo to join Eiichiro Yanagawa, our Tokyo-based expert on financial technology.
The three-hour interactive session includes peer-to-peer discussions among the participants. The event starts with presentations by Celent analysts. They will discuss globaltrends in Digital Journeys and Emerging Technologies and their points of view on it, mentioning specific effective tools and technologies to address pressing challenges and opportunities. Discussions will follow the presentations.
Filled with concrete examples from around the world, the session will discuss new technologies, emerging and existing competitors, and financial firm’s responses. What are the new sources of value the financial firms can provide to their customers? How can they change the relationship? And what are the implications in Japan?
This is a great opportunity to learn about how technology transformation projects and new technologies are affecting financial services. Customer service excellence requires consistently exceeding customer expectations. Too many Financial Institutions think a slick new digital outfit alone will make the look beautiful. FIs can’t deliver excellent customer service with digital alone. Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, FIs pursuing customer service excellence must execute well when and how their customers choose to interact with them. Celent's research finds that for the overwhelming majority of US/ Japan adults, this means executing well both digitally and in-person.
