Datactics selected by PwC’s Ignite Programme to accelerate the growth of its Data Compliance and Regulation Technology

Belfast, London, New York and Toronto, Oct 12, 2015 - Datactics today announces that it has been selected by PwC to join its accelerator programme, Ignite which provides innovative companies game-changing technologies access to PwC expertise, advice and global networks to help them grow faster, sell further and perform better.

Datactics’ software manages big data (hundreds of millions of records) and helps its capital markets, healthcare, government and supply-chain customers get their data in order. It serves clients across Europe, Asia and North America providing benefits like data quality measurement, easy data scrubbing, reduced manual effort, significant cost savings as well as the creation of consistent, clear and accurate information. Datactics’ financial services division, which was established in 2014, specialises in the areas of regulation and compliance. Having already secured major contracts for its compliance solutions in London and New York, Datactics is currently running 10+ POC’s each with a strong regulatory focus.

Participation in the Ignite programme is set to strengthen Datactics’ strategy in helping financial institutions manage and control data and provide insight into how closely they are complying with regulations. Exposure to PwC’s regulatory experts will assist the firm in further developing its data compliance technology and access to its external network will accelerate the awareness of these capabilities to a global audience.

This summer, Datactics’ data compliance technology also was a recognised in Innovate UK’s Financial Technologies Innovation Contest, backed by industry heavyweights like Lloyds, RBS Group and Accenture. Datactics was a finalist in its compliance and regulation challenge which sought novel proposals for solutions that enable compliance practice to become more accessible and efficient for financial organisations and their customers. Another recent acknowledgement was given in Information Difference’s Data Quality Landscape Report which ranked Datactics as a major data quality vendor with exceptional technology.
