Electra Information Systems Wins Best Reconciliation Platform/Service in the Buy-side Technology Awards 2016
New York – November 16, 2016 – Electra Information Systems (Electra), an innovative provider of proven solutions for buy-side post-trade processing, today announced it has been awarded “Best Buy-side Reconciliation Platform/Service” by Buy-side Technology.
The platform, Electra Reconciliation, was chosen by an independent panel comprised of leading journalists, consultants and industry analysts. By selecting Electra Reconciliation for the distinction, the panel recognized the groundbreaking new developments in functionality, processes and industry partnerships that Electra introduced in 2016.
Significant enhancements to Electra Reconciliations during the year included a first-of-its-kind ‘n-way’ reconciliation that identifies the differences between any number of data sources; a powerful net asset value (NAV) reconciliation feature that provides visibility into the makeup of a fund’s total assets at a granular level; and an innovative intraday process that allows users to identify and manage exceptions as they occur, thereby eliminating risks caused by delayed overnight matching processes.
Electra continues to partner with other industry-leading providers of buy-side systems to offer interoperability to our mutual customers. In June, seamless integration between the Electra Reconciliation suite and Linedata Global Hedge Portfolio Manager was established. In August, Eagle Investment Systems and Electra announced an extension of their partnership to provide a bespoke interface linking Electra Data and Electra Reconciliation with Eagle, resulting in a unified data and reconciliation solution.
“We are truly honored to win the Best Buy-side Reconciliation Platform/Service award. Receiving recognition from the marketplace for redefining reconciliation functionality is very important to us. It validates the work we are doing to innovate in the reconciliations space and to further differentiate our solution by addressing the needs of our clients,” said John Landry, Chief Executive Officer, Electra.
The Buy-side Technology Awards honored winners at a lunch at The May Fair in London on Friday, November 4th, 2016.
