TCS announced that IDFC Bank, India and KBZSC Myanmar won the Best Core Banking implementation and Best Securities Trading implementation awards at the just concluded Asian Banker Technology Innovation Awards 2017 in Singapore. TCS also secured a Silver award and was named among the three winners in the Best Vendor Satisfaction category that represented the leaders in the Asia Pacific region.

Citing the work done by IDFC and TCS and the reasons for the win, The Asian Banker said, “IDFC Bank implemented TCS BaNCS to offer innovative and digital services across all business lines. The new system offers electronic know-your-customer account opening within four minutes and several unique features. The bank achieved significant growth in number of customers and multi-fold increase in profit.”
