The WEY Group AG, a globally operating technology company specialising in the technical provisioning of trading floors and control rooms, has acquired RGBP AG, a leading service provider in the area of audiovisual communications technology based in Thalwil, Switzerland.
A high degree of congruence between both company cultures significantly simplifies the integration into the WEY Group. For the previous owners of RGBP AG, this development provides the perfect successorship solution for the company. For the WEY Group, the acquisition significantly expands its market position and ability to offer high-performance, innovative solutions from a single source in the audiovisual field. WEY’s audiovisual business unit will be transferred from WEY Technology AG, a subsidiary of the WEY Group AG, to RGBP AG.
The rapidly expanding market for trading floor and control room solutions, and its demand for fully integrated audiovisual media, results in synergies that both companies will capitalize on in the future. In the world of multimedia technology, the demand for sophisticated operating concepts as well as easy and intuitive access to a broad range of information sources is also growing.

Former Members of the Board of RGBP AG, Reto Giacomin, Heinz Ryter and Nicolin Salis will continue to provide their specialised knowledge and remain on the extended Board of Directors. Mr. José Francisco Vega, Member of the Board, will support Mr. Thomas Holenstein, new Managing Director of RGBP AG, to ensure the operational management of the company. Mr. Holenstein was responsible for managing and developing the audiovisual business at WEY Technology AG. Armin Klingler and Mario Okle, main shareholders of the WEY Group AG, will oversee the integration of RGBP AG into the WEY Group.
