Model Bank 2019 Winners Revealed!

On April 12, we hosted our 13th Annual Innovation & Insight Day in New York. At the event, we celebrated 23 banks and initiatives that went beyond the theoretical to the practical, showing huge business benefits, tremendous innovation, and great technical achievement.

We have taken the rare step of publishing a free synopsis of the Model Bank Awards program titled Innovation in Banking and Payments 2019; and made this available to all registered users on Celent.com. Trending Conference Themes

My colleagues and I have also been to several conferences hosted by service providers. The two big themes that surfaced are culminations of trends that have been gathering momentum for quite some time: cloud and componentization. While these two go hand in hand, the progress that technology companies are making, together with the acceptance of the new technology by banks, tells me that something’s indeed different this time.

In fact, we’ll shortly be launching a new survey on banks’ adoption of cloud technologies. If you’re interested in participating, please drop me a note and we’ll put you on the list.
