Celent announced today that Patricia Hines has joined its banking practice as a Senior Analyst focused on global transaction services and wholesale banking with a particular emphasis on treasury and cash management, corporate banking delivery channels, and trade and supply chain finance, along with commercial and small business lending.

"Global transaction banking continues to be a priority for many financial institutions due to its reliable income stream, growing volume of wholesale payments, and low capital requirements," says Hines. "I am excited to be joining the Celent team and look forward to leveraging my experience to help the industry get more out of its technology investments."

Highlights of Hines's career include:

  • Over 20 years of experience in financial services across business, technology, and operations.
  • Former Research Director in Wholesale Banking at CEB TowerGroup, where she conducted primary research focused on industry trends, strategic business drivers, and technology solutions in commercial lending and small business services.
  • Senior product management, marketing, and technology positions at FleetBoston Financial, Wells Fargo, Citibank, MuleSoft, OpenText GXS, and S1 Corporation (now ACI Worldwide).
