Euro Events Life Insurance and Pensions Conferenceからの報告
I had the pleasure of attending the Euro Events Life Insurance and Pensions Conference , which was held in Amsterdam on 16-17 November. Over the course of two days, we heard viewpoints from an impressive 19 speakers and industry experts. Topics of discussion ranged from the latest trends and developments in life and pensions product design, customer retention strategies, the UK private pension market, and the impact of technology on the future of the industry. Given the intersection of life insurance, pensions, and wealth management in the UK, I found this conference relevant to my wealth management research. The presentations were woven together through the overarching question:
“What do the next generation of customers really want in an age of industry reformation, and how can technology help achieve this goal?”
It is clear that the insurance and wealth management industries continue to evolve as a result of stringent regulations, a changing customer base, a focus on client-centricity, and emerging digital technologies. “Digital, millennials, account aggregation, client-centricity, regulation, affordability, accessibility, and automation”were the recurring themes throughout the presentations.
