My colleague Jeff Goldberghas increased my appreciation for the concept of metadata, or “data about data.” If you catch him on the right day, you will even hear him talk passionately about Meta-metadata. I find his thinking extremely useful, and you will too. Expect a Celent report on metadata soon.

Along that same vein, our carrier clients often consult us about insurance consultants, particularly the IT services players. Who they are, what areas they focus on, what specialties they bring to the table, and so on. We’ve tracked this topic for years, but we’ve decided to take the analysis one step further by creating an Insurance IT Services Solution Spectrum report.

If you’re a carrier client, expect this report early in Q4 to give you the skinny on who plays where. It may confirm what you already know, or it may give you a host of new providers to consider.
