BI-SAM Wins Prestigious Buy-Side Technology Award for Seventh Consecutive Year
BI-SAM, the leading provider of performance measurement and attribution, risk analytics, composites management and client reporting solutions for the global asset management industry, today announced its B-One platform has been voted “Best Buy-Side Performance Measurement and Attribution Product” at the annual Buy-Side Technology Awards. This is the seventh successive year that BI-SAM has won the award.
Hosted by leading industry publication Buy-Side Technology, the awards recognise the leading technologies and vendors servicing the need of buy-side firms. The selection process employs an auditable and transparent methodology, underpinned by the input and experience of a judging panel comprising specialist buy-side technology consultants working alongside editors from Buy-Side Technology. The full list of winners is available on the award’s webpage.
The award for “Best Buy-Side Performance Measurement and Attribution Product” honours the vendor with the most valued and important attributes, underpinned by a significant product investment strategy. Performance solutions are judged according to their ability to calculate returns for portfolios (benchmarks and composites); attribution effects for equity and fixed income portfolios; workflow capabilities; and calculation of ex-post risk, absolute and relative.
“Being voted Best Buy-Side Performance Measurement and Attribution Product for the seventh straight year is an honour and an achievement. We would like to thank BST and their judges for the award. We invest an enormous amount of effort in ensuring that our clients have the advanced capabilities they need to tackle tomorrow’s requirements,” said William Haney, CEO of BI-SAM. “This year, we delivered a vast range of enhancements and extensions and further strengthened our performance and technical experts at all levels. As a result, our market-leading offering is now trusted by an ever-growing number of clients around the world, including ten of the top 40 largest global asset managers. We also have an ambitious programme of future initiatives mapped out, as we strive to equip our customers with the most sophisticated solutions available to deliver real value to their decision-makers and clients.”
Victor Anderson, Editor-in-Chief of Waters and WatersTechnology, commented: “While this category was once again close fought with a handful of mature and sophisticated offerings, BI-SAM has again proved that there really is no better performance measurement and attribution product on the market. BI-SAM continues to introduce genuinely useful functionality and scalability enhancements, including extending the available data scope and attribution capabilities of its B-Portal web-based tool, and the rollout of an intuitive portfolio aggregation tool for management purposes.”
