SimCorp Coric wins ‘Best Communications and Reporting Solution’ for Fourth Consecutive Year, at the Systems in the City Awards
SimCorp, a leading provider of investment management solutions and services to the global financial services industry, today announces that its client communications and reporting solution, SimCorp Coric, has won the “Best Client Communications and Reporting” category, in the 2018 Systems in the City Awards, held in London.
This year’s event marks the fourth consecutive year SimCorp Coric has been awarded for its dedicated client communication platform. Over the last 12 months, SimCorp Coric has introduced a range of enhanced solutions, serving not only the end-to-end production of investment reporting, but also sales enablement and a self-service digital portal, as part of the digital evolution of buy-side client communications.
The Systems in the City Awards, now in its 20th year, is an annual event managed and hosted by Goodacre UK; the leading specialist consultancy for the UK services industry. The awards are in recognition of the city’s most prominent system providers serving the UK’s regulated financial community. The award signifies the exceptional functionality SimCorp Coric delivers its clients, which ultimately enables them to provide high-quality reporting and a consistent client experience.
This year, the category has been changed to include client communications, reflecting the evolution of buy side client reporting. Goodacre UK’s focus on this often overlooked and under-invested area of investment management, comes at a time when client reporting and communications is expanding far beyond the back office. Leveraging its 20 years of client reporting and communications experience, and working closely with the buy side, SimCorp Coric has addressed the need for reporting and communications tools in the front and middle offices, by investing in its scalable core platform, designed to provide consistent workflows and tools, using one data set for the entire firm.
Stephen Pinner, Managing Director at Goodacre UK: ““Investment companies are facing constant demands and pressures on various fronts including changing regulatory and geographical boundaries coupled with increasing client demands. Reliable and robust communications are essential elements for effective solutions and now, more than ever, should be based on effective IT processes, such as those provided by SimCorp Coric.”
Stuart Keeler, Managing Director, SimCorp Coric: “We are delighted to receive this award for the fourth consecutive year and amid strong competition too. This recognition is particularly important for SimCorp Coric as it is a nod to our hard work and investment into transforming traditional client reporting solutions and delivering a digital communications suite to the buy side. We are committed to further enhancing our core platform in line with the needs of the industry both here in the UK, and globally.”
Used by over 65 buy side clients globally, SimCorp Coric enables the efficient and intuitive management of the end-to-end client reporting and communications process from data gathering, report generation and workflow through to distribution. Equipped with SimCorp Coric’s digital capabilities, including the portal, interactive tools, sales enablement and an enhanced self-service functionality, investors are empowered to interact with real-time content with anywhere-anytime access and the ability to build custom reports in alignment with their individual needs.
The awards were announced at the 20th annual System in the City Awards ceremony in London on 12 July 2018.
