Auriga, a company specialised in omnichannel banking solutions, continues its international expansion programme by opening a new office in Brussels. This will strengthen Auriga’s presence in Belgium and Luxembourg and support local banks on their digital transformation path. Rudy De Wolf, formerly business manager at BNP-Paribas, will lead the new office as operations manager.
Brussels, July 19th, 2021 – In opening operations in Brussels, Auriga is further expanding internationally, following the announcement of its service agreement with Batopin.
The company regards this new office (after the latest two in 2020) as of great significance for financial institutions, promoting its omnichannel banking solutions and bringing its innovation expertise into the heart of the European Union.
Auriga has also established a local ATM Management Platform using two data centres in Belgium – Diegem and Aalst – managed by LCL, one of the most secure and reliable providers in state-of-the-art Tier 3 data centre facilities in Belgium.
To carry out its local expansion plan, Auriga is turning to a banking sector specialist Rudy De Wolf who has three decades of experience in the Belgian and Luxembourg banking sector.
This includes his long-term relation with BNP Paribas Fortis where he worked on ATM and branch projects, both as business manager and as product Owner.
In his new position at Auriga, Rudy De Wolf will be managing the relations and operations related to the main end-to-end Service in Belgium, coordinating the external partners and the providers into the network.
Auriga is one of Europe's key technology providers for the digital transformation of bank branches.
Rudy De Wolf commented.
It is a unique multivendor software expert company in the market and is about to become the best option to accelerate the digital transformation process of banking in Belgium and Luxembourg. Therefore, I’m more than happy to be able to contribute to its global mission as operations manager of this new Brussels branch.
Vincenzo Fiore, CEO at Auriga, added:
Rudy's extensive background allows us to understand clients' needs and translate them into innovative proposals, implement effective technology solutions and achieve sustained business growth as we thrive to reach the Belgian and Luxembourg market.
He further explained:
The decision to open a new operational office in Brussels and the appointment of managerial figures of great expertise is aimed at consolidating our presence in Belgium.
Our relationship with the Belgian market began in 2015, but it has been evolving since 2020, when we started co-leading the design and implementation of one of the most important and challenging ATM pooling projects in Europe, with the four main Belgian banks. A relationship that, we hope, will bring us further successes.
