FINANCIAL SOFTWARE COMPANY SPONSOR BRITISH TRIATHLETE
London based financial software company, Third Financial Software, have agreed a sponsorship deal with British Triathlete, Laura Fidler.
The deal comes as Laura approaches the final couple of months of training before the World Triathlon Grand Final kicks off in Edmonton, Canada. The event will showcase standard and sprint distance group races, offering Laura the chance to compete in the same venue as the world’s elite athletes.
Third Financial have agreed to sponsor all Laura’s expenses including coaching, travel, kit and accommodation for the second half of 2014. Although a professional athlete, Laura still works as a physiotherapist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
Stewart Foster, Chief Executive Officer of Third Financial comments:
‘We couldn’t be more delighted to sponsor Laura. She is a fantastic athlete with huge potential and to be a part of her journey is an honor. As an amateur sportsman myself I know all too well the commitment and resilience required to compete at such a level in sport. Laura’s story is very inspiring and we hope to adopt some of her passion for health and fitness and relay it to our employees encouraging them to take up a sport and get fit.
Laura Fidler, says:
Personally funding sport is a very difficult thing to do, with so many different aspects to consider, it all adds up. Without the support from Third Financial Software it really would be near impossible to compete as well as work. I’m so grateful for their support and look forward to working with them over the second half of this year.
