ACA Compliance Group partners with NorthPoint Financial to form ACA Technology Solutions

(NEW YORK, NY and LONDON, UK) November 5, 2014 - ACA Compliance Group ("ACA"), the leading provider of global regulatory compliance and GIPS® verification services, announced today that it has acquired NorthPoint Financial. The combination continues ACA's initiative to offer full-scale technology-powered global solutions to financial services firms worldwide. The financial terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed.

Founded in 2003, New York-based NorthPoint Financial provides mission-critical financial software products and services to leading investment management firms. NorthPoint Financial’s software products include an Order Management System (OMS), Portfolio Management, Data Warehouse, Security Master, Price Master, and Regulatory and Investor Reporting (RIR). NorthPoint also offers a full suite of professional services, and has provided solutions to over 150 investment managers.

Following the transaction, NorthPoint Financial will become part of newly-formed ACA Technology Solutions, which will be dedicated to developing, enhancing, and supporting technology products and services for financial services firms worldwide. All employees, including the NorthPoint Financial leadership team, will join ACA as part of this transaction. NorthPoint Financial will continue to enhance and support its NorthPoint Platform, software products, and services for its existing clients.

Together, ACA's team and the product development team at NorthPoint Financial will collaborate to develop premier tools to address the complex operational, trading, regulatory, and promotional challenges facing financial services firms today. ACA and NorthPoint Financial already have developed and currently offer an AIFMD Annex IV solution to meet the multi-jurisdictional reporting and filing requirements coming into effect this year in Europe.
