Investment Management Firm Goes Live with Quantifi as its Core Enterprise Risk Platform
Quantifi, a provider of risk, analytics and trading solutions, today announced that a rapidly growing investment manager, based in New York City, has gone live with Quantifi as its core enterprise risk platform. Formed in 2016, the fund seeks to provide positive absolute returns while preserving capital in all market environments. The fund’s investment portfolio is focused on bonds, CDS, loans and stocks.
As investment managers search for returns and value-added alpha they face increased challenges in the form of regulatory compliance, competitive pressures, shifting investor demands and outdated systems. As a new fund, the client was looking for a technology partner who understood the specific challenges they are faced with. Seamless integration with the client's Order Management System (OMS) and Fund Administrator was also key to the firm’s selection. After careful review of other risk technology providers, it was clear Quantifi was the most suitable solution to support their growth plan and provide the functionality necessary to support their investment strategies.
“The client has benefitted from a quick and seamless implementation, within budget. This has allowed them to go to market quickly and efficiently, with no operational risk. They appreciated the work our local support team did in building customised processes and reports to meet all their business requirements,” Robert Goldstein, Director of Clients Services, North America, Quantifi. “With Quantifi now live, the traders and portfolio managers can analyse their risk and PnL, sliced and diced across a variety of different attributes at both deal and portfolio level. In addition, their operations team easily sends their daily investor reports directly out of Quantifi with minimal effort,” continues Robert.
For investment managers, Quantifi delivers cross-asset trading, front-to-back operations, position management, market, credit, and liquidity riskmanagement, margining, and regulatory reporting all on an integrated platform. As well as supporting the key regulatory requirements such as Solvency ll, EMIR, AIFMD, MiFID II, and CRD4, Quantifi applies the latest technology innovations to provide new levels of usability, flexibility, and ease of integration. This translates into dramatically lower time to market, lower total cost of ownership, and significant improvements in operational efficiency.
“We are delighted the client has joined the growing number of investment managers using Quantifi. Our robust, cost-effective solution is designed to help client’s mitigate risk and reduce operational complexity. The scalability and flexibility of our solution ensures we can support the client with their future growth,” said Pradiv Mahesh, Director, Americas Sales, Quantifi.
