Abstract

What is data management and data lineage and why is it important to have a process for understanding data sources in your organization? How do we share data effectively and in a secured manner? In this research series, we will look deeper into how confidential computing can help integrate and secure data in use, providing trust in data sharing. We provided an introduction to confidential computing as part of working with alternative data in the Celent report, From Data to Product to Customer Engagement: Delivering Good Distribution and Customer Experience with Alternative Data. In a follow-up to the topic of confidential computing, we provided a primer in the Celent blog, The Growth of Confidential Computing for Secured Data Sharing on the Cloud. The goal is to foster an understanding of data traceability, security, and privacy for an overall data ecosystem.
