Abstract

The burgeoning Insurtech space is vast and rapidly evolving. It is difficult for even the savviest of industry insiders to keep up with today’s most cutting-edge solutions. This report discusses claims trends, profiles many of the leading claims-focused Insurtechs and offer guidance for carriers looking to partner. It will break down Insurtechs by type of offering and area of focus throughout the value chain.

Claims is an area that is pariclarly amenable to enhancements from Insurtech offerings as it is one of the few processes where a human still touches almost every transaction. While distribution, underwriting, and billing have been heavily automated, claims is still relatively nascent in the use of technology to automate tasks. But technology-focused offerings have demonstrated themselves capable of supporting each facet of a claim.
