Abstract

Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) can be characterized as "highly autonomous systems that outperform humans at most economically valuable work" Source: OpenAI

As a potentially available technology Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), has many possible internal and external implications for the property/casualty industry.

The first step in thinking about AGI's possible impact on insurance is to consider the likelihood that AGI could reach a level of maturity with real world impact -- and the timeframe in which that could occur.
