In 2012, South Korea’s insurance industry took the first bold steps down what promises to be a road to major change. Precipitated by a government announcement allowing insurers to accept electronic signatures on insurance policies as well as the release of related e-signature guidelines, insurers rapidly began to adopt e-signature systems.

Join KyongSun Kong, Analyst with Celent’s Asian Financial Services Group, as she looks at how insurers are looking to take advantage of the e-signature opportunity as well as the potential benefits of e-signatures for the industry.
