In Conversation With... FIS on Credit Cards in the US
About this Interview:
We continue our In Coversation With... series by hosting several interviews with FIS executives about the cards market in the US.
In this first episode, we sat down with Carl Thibodeau, VP, Head of Products and Services, Credit Processing, North America at FIS. We discussed several topics, such as:
- Where the US credit market is heading to in 2025, and why credit cards remain resilient;
- Key challenges facing the issuers today;
- What the issuers are looking for from their technology provider/ card processor.
Other episodes will include discussions on the importance of value added services and the need for modern loyalty programs.
About the Series:
Celent’s new “In Conversation with…” series allows us to speak to various companies without being bound to a specific theme. The series is open to all: financial institutions, their solution and service providers, and other industry participants; however, we do have strict qualification criteria. These interviews let our clients get a sense of how a particular company thinks, what it offers today, and how it differentiates from others; these perspectives can then inform the institution’s technology investment strategies. We are intentionally non-evaluative in these interviews. If you are interested to participate, please contact your account manager or info@celent.com.
