Before
founding Celent, Mr. Marenzi was a co-founder of Meridien Research,
where he was the research director of their e-financial services
practice. Previously, he was the head of IT planning for the asset
management division of the Union Bank of Switzerland in Zurich, the
world's largest asset manager. At UBS, he was responsible for
planning IT projects in the areas of portfolio management,
brokerage, mutual funds and custody. Previously at UBS, Mr. Marenzi
was the project manager of customer information systems.
Mr.
Marenzi has also worked as a management consultant for Booz, Allen
& Hamilton's Financial Services Group in Europe and North
America. He received his BS and MS from the Massachusetts Institute
of Technology. Mr. Marenzi is fluent in English, German and French.
