Catherine Stagg-Macey is an executive advisor in Celent’s insurance practice and is based in the firm’s London office. Her consulting experience includes package selection for insurers, advising private equity firms on fintech targets, and developing go-to-market strategies for vendors.
In previous roles, Catherine has worked at Marsh and ATOS KPMG Consulting in London and South Africa. In these roles, she worked on the development of IT strategy and advised clients on outsourcing, data warehousing, and the selection of software packages. She has also worked for Celent in a full time capacity where she built and managed the European insurance practice. Her research has covered topics from legacy modernisation, core insurance systems, Lloyds, CIO plans and priorities and telematics.
She has been published in a wide range of trade press including CIO.uk, Post magazine and Insurance Times and has been judge to the inaugural technology awards for insurers in the UK. She continues to mentor and coach technology startups in the UK and emerging countries. She is a monthly guest blogger on CIO.UK and Insurance Innovation Journal.
